Anyone here have a clear bra installed? I was thinking it would be a worthwhile investment considering the amount of mileage I drive.
Just looking for real world feedback. I've look at the cost and here in San Diego, I'm looking at approx:
Hood, Fender, Mirror and Grille Kit
Part Number: P1215F
Our Price: $375.00
Bumper Kit
Part Number: P1215G
Our Price: $425.00
and
Luggage Area Kit
Part Number: P1215K
Our Price: $95.00
So roughly 900. Seems a bit spendy, but I know a bumper repaint could cost more than that alone. Thoughts? |

Look at my signature and see what I have. I had a professional do mine and all of it was $700, includingf the tint.
Also, I would not go less than 18" on the hood, if you do it will not cover the fenders and will cut-off at the headlights. |

It is 3M, but since it is done by a professional, he receives the rolls of clear bra material and cuts them size when he gets a job. It is not pre-cut.

| is it worth the 700 bucks honestly? like do you regret getting it ? |

Absolutely worth it. It was expensive, but I do not regret getting it. In the long haul, it will save a ton of money since I don't have to get bodywork done and paint re-done. Oh, and it has a lifetime warranty for as long as I own the car against bubbling, peeling, cracking, discoloration, etc.
Honestly, if I could (which I know you REALLY can) get the entire car clearbra'd, I would.

| Here it is a must too. In a winter time the city spreads very small rock chips and sand on the road to fight ice, and this stuff hits your car like a shrapnel. I did mine clear bra as soon as I got the vehicle. It was also done by the professional, computer cut to the perfection. |

I agree. With the snow, sand, rocks here too. I did it on my last car too ('07 Toyota Camry SE V6) and didn't regret it whatsoever.

+1. Clear bra was the 2nd aftermarket item I installed (or had installed) on our MDX. Tint was the first. |

| Got it with the car. I'd say it's worth the $ after seeing what damages caused by stone chips on my old cars. |
