I need to do some simple drawing for furniture parts like caster.

Auto CAD is too expensive and too powerful and I don't have time/want to learn it.

Is there any simple software that is similar to Auto CAD? If it's free (open source) that is even better.

TIA.

This software is cheap (as in price). Basic version is free and Pro is $32.95.

I have been playing around with it for about an hour. I am not really getting it. I think a basic crush course is needed. Like what is X, Y, snap to grid etc.
