I've mentioned this with my '07 steel blue X, and I'll say it again with my '08 blk sport. I am the only one who sits in driver's seat. My wife will not allow to get near the blk X without my presence. This applies for the blk es350 & the blk i328. She has her own car & these 3 are mine. ;) |

Now, just for the record, would you put her on and let us hear her version.

She drives the ES300 sometimes Accord V6-EX-L. I forgot to mention I still keep my '97 blk civic EX custom leather, bluetooth, DVD & NAV. Currently 124K miles & still runs like a champ. |

It's hers! Once in a while she'll let me take it to work or the supermarket...

We both drive it. Mind you, I drive the lion's share of the time (all due respect paid to LS...), but that's mainly because I actually like driving, whereas she views it as a chore. Of course, sometimes it is nice to sit in the back and enjoy the amenities (so long as the pest is sleeping -- I don't want my son to know that there's a DVD player back there until he's older...). As for my elderly Benz E420, it's pretty much the same -- if she's out with the X, I take it; if I'm out with the X, she takes it. Usually, though, the Benz just sits in the garage in CT unless my wife's family or my mother comes up for the weekend, in which case they use it (we only have one garage space in Manhattan, which is why I leave the Benz in CT).
God, I can only imagine what would happen if I told my wife that under no circumstances she was allowed to come near the X unless my behind was already firmly planted in the driver's seat... She'd probably kill me. Literally. And you know what, she'd get away with it too.
Regards,
Adam |

Yeah, remember Gray Davis era? He was about to raise 300% increase in vehicle registration ... Thank God for Mr. Terminator terminated that proposal. Scare the snitz out of me back then. If that 300% took in effect, now I probably have to pay around $5,500 yearly.
Regards to Fab's RL, it would be a nice addition to the "black" car family of mine. You know where to reach me when you decide to dispose your RL. |

| Whenever we're together, I will drive. On the occasions I have to drive separately, I get the bmw and she gets the nice new X |

I drive mostly (95%) because she prefers to play with the buttons and relax in the comfy seats when I'm around...and I don't blame her... I would do that to if I could.
There are times though that she drives the X on her own (5%)... but thank god I got a car enthusiast as a wife.. she drives manual like a beast :29: would run circles around some of you guys on the road in a manual. Plus she knows about cars/engines etc. so I don't have to deal with the "I didn't know I couldn't drive it with that light on the dash on...I didn't even smell the smoke" scenario... so she's can come next to the X and use it whenever she wants :) |

My wife during the week me on the weekends. (She works part time and has a 3 mile round trip commute I work full time and have a 42 mile round trip) |

I drive the X.
The wife thinks it's too big and doesn't let her drive as aggressively as she does with the TL. Unless there's a lot of snow on the roads, in which case she'd rather have the X :)
That's 'cause I work from home while she has a 30 miles commute. |

| The X is usually driven between my brother and I. We switch off cars quite frequently. I don't mind changing it up with the performance of the X and the rugidness of the 4Runner. |

I usually drive it.
My parents will take my car once in a while.
If that happens, then I take their car. :) |
