| Warranty is void if you register it in another country other than its original destination. It doesn't matter whether it comes from Canada and is registered in the US or comes from the US and is registered in Canada. |

The best place to ask would be Acura Canada. Call their client service line, explain your situation fully and see what they say.
But if you're a U.S. citizen moving to Canada or, a Canadian citizen who were living in the States but are moving back home, then it's just a matter of showing Acura Canada the necessary papers they'll be requesting such as your driver's license of the state your Acura was purchased in, bill of sale, registration, title to your car (if a brand new car, then a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin), proof of insurance and also a recall clearance letter from Acura USA.
You'll need those documents anyway when you're coming over the border to show both the U.S. and the Canadian customs agents to import the vehicle since you'll be moving to Ontario.
I think your best bet would be to call Acura Canada and get the info right from the horse's mouth though.
But as long as you can provide all those documents to Acura Canada, they will honor the remaining U.S. warranty in Canada. |
