| This is the spy photo of the new mdx does that covered emblem looks like it reads turbo? if it is, then the diesel mdx that is coming out might be turbo. Hope it's twin turbo co'z I hate the lag. |

| I see where you're going, but the "MDX" emblem has to go some where on the back, and "TURBO" in that yellow circle is less likely. TURBO or DIESEL could be where ACURA is. :8: |

| I can see "SPORT" emblem replaces "ACURA" emblem but not "MDX" for "TURBO". |

| How about "Brembo" |

| it says MDX on it, the o you see at the end is just a bubble in the tape... |

Yeah, you can make out the "X" part on the right.
The left doesn't look like "ACURA" but it doesn't look like "Sport" either. I have a hard time believing that Acura would take its brand name completely off the back to use the word Sport instead. If it did then what would base and tech models have? |

wow you guys are really reaching with what you "see"
I don't see anything that would make me think the badging is different from what's currently on the mdx. |

It says "Acura", "MDX", and "SH-AWD", just like it always has.
Car manufacturers always cover the various emblems and badging on their testing mules. Who knows, it may yet change on the production version, but we won't know until it's officially on the market

I agree with csmeance. It does look like a tape covering that appears to be an O. Beside I do not see any reason why Acura would change location of the current emblems even at refresh stage. The plastic bumpers are still inexcusable.

| The fact that they would tape out an acura emblem (A) ...the acura sign etc. on a vehicle that's CLEARLY THE ACURA MDX is beyond me ...I mean the back is the same ...it's not a stretch to figure out what's the brand etc they are trying to be all stealthy with.....someone just went tape happy ...lol |

The very visible trailer ball suggests to me that they have merely dropped a new motor into the current MDX and are doing all the performance and durability testing. No need to "hide" anything but if they DMV wants to get all "letter of the law" on them and the vehicle has a non-EPA certified motor on it they would fail. Thus they make is obvious to any DMV type inspector who might encounter the vehicle that this IS NOT a regular production vehicle... |

| Good point, so if we put tape on our emblems that gives us carte blanche to break the DMV rules? :D |
