Does the VSA OFF button lit up? - Click HERE for Original Thread

OH TWINS
Would someone please kindly check to see if the VSA OFF switch lit up. 'cause my doesn't?

not sure if it lights up but i tried pushing mine and it doesnt.

mine doesn't either. I do get an icon that lights up on the gauges though.

I checked mine too, doesnt light up at all. Only a light on the instrument panel.

By default its always on.

if i remember correctly that is the botton by the key switch. if so, if i also remember i was looking in the manual and you have to be in 1st or 2nd gear to turn it off. i think it is for when you do not have good traction and need a little extra help

Thats the VTM 4 Lock. The VSA is on the left side of the gauges.

VSA is Vehicle Stability Assist, which is basically traction and stability control all rolled into one.

As for when you should turn it off, the only time I can think of is when you need to get some wheel-spin, such as when rocking the vehicle back and forth, etc. Normally VSA will apply the brake to any wheel(s) that are spinning. Other than that I would think it's best to leave it on (the default) all the time.
