Hi all,
I have read the manual to where it says "the passengers side mirror will pivot downward slightly" and I wondered how slight that is supposed to be.
Mine does move, but it is so slight that it is useless.
Just wondering if mine is malfunctioning or not.
I can manually position the mirror to see the ground.
Any input on how others' work is appreciated.
Cheers, |

My '04 passenger side mirror does tilt down significantly, enough that I can see the painted parking lines or curb. Note that it only does this when the mirror switch is set to the middle (not L or R).
Cheers

My 05 worked this way also. |

Hi guys,
Thanks for the input.
The switch for the mirror is in the middle position and the mirror does tilt slightly. There must be something wrong. |

| Try using the mirror switch to tilt it up and down. After a few tries, mine started working again (although at times its more of a hazard than of help) |

| Could be an issue with the mirror motor. It should tilt down pretty far. |

Mine does this intermittently. If I use the switch to move it all the way down and to the right and then hit the memory button to move it back into place, it works correctly for a while. |

| I don't see any reference to year and model. Are you sure you have the touring model? Without it they don't tilt on the early years. |

Hi guys,
Thanks for the input, and sorry for not posting my specifics.
I have an '05 with RES and Navi, 68000kms
I have tried all suggested remedies to no avail.
I suppose it's not covered under warranty. |
