Hello,
I recently purchased an 06 MDX (Touring, NAV, RES). This is my first Acura. I'm considering obtaining a second set of four OEM rims for decicated snow tires. I performed some searches but was unable to determine if 01-03 MDX rims will permit the use of TPMS sensors. I called Tim P. and he was unsure so he suggested that I post my question here. My preference is to use 04-06 rims but would like to know in the event I come across a great deal on the earlier designs.
thanks ! |

| I don't think the first gen even has a way to mount TPMS sensors. Stick with 04-06. |

Not sure if they will work. Come on, whats a few months without sensors if you saved some cash on some older style rims. Just check tire pressures every so often by hand. :p
Welcome to the forum! |

| Thanks for your input and for the welcome aboard. For now...I think I'll concentrate on locating some 04-06 rims. But Midnight MDX has a good point because that would also save me $160 in TMPS sensors. Just means I'd have to look at a yellow dash light for 4 months.:banghead: |
