A couple of nights ago, I walked out to my 2008 MDX, and noticed that the painted one-piece plastic bumper/rear side was popped out of its mounting to the metal part of the rear pillar. No other apparent damage, other than that the fit line on the right side of the trunk seems a little wider than normal.
Could someone have hit me, or is there something about the parts that don't fit quite right? I am not able to "pop" the piece back into its mounting.

| I got rapped in a parking lot, and the same thing happened. I saw other damage (the hitch plug was broken off, and the plug bracket was bent back) so I knew I got hit. I first noticed the hit by seeing a bulge in the plastic bumper where it meets the body. |

| Yep; mine was a little worse, in that the painted plastic bumper section has separated from the main body. I'll need to find out if there's a simple way to "pop" it back in, or if more significant work will be needed. |

If you resize the image smaller, it can be viewed easier. Also will not cause the thread to expand so much.

Or, if I leave it large, it will give people a reason to upgrade to a new widescreen monitor.
Sorry for the inconvenience. |

Try to remember, the world does not evolve around you. ;)
Size of the picture looks just fine. |

| Once you delete a picture, you don't get the option to attach another. Better late than never: |

You probably got hit. I would not try to pop it back in. If you try to pop it back in, you might cause more damage. I would carefully remove the entire bumper cover and then re-fit everything back the way it is supposed to fit. |
