| I remember that my 06 mdx tilted both mirrors when in reverse but on the 08 it only allows one or the other or none. Is there a way to mod it so that it will tilt both mirrors ? |

Technically you would only need one tilted mirror (mostly the passenger's side) for parrallel parking purpose. Beside, there is also a back-up camera in play. That said, I wouldn't mind having both tilted mirrors but to the least, I wouldn't go NUTS like you have.
P.S. Take Fab's advice from step 1-4. |

Wow- assuming your memory is not failing (like mine), that would mean the 06 was the only year that tilted both mirrors when in reverse. The 05 and prior would tilt the passenger mirror down when the switch was in teh middle, and the 07's and up will tilt either but not both when teh switch is left or right.
Treasure your 06. THey don't make em like they used to. |

I actually like that only one side tilts down. When I parallel park I only need it to tilt down on the curb side. The other side I don't want tilted down so that I can keep an eye out for cars approaching from behind. I'm not sure when I would need to have both mirrors tilted down. |

One-way streets. |

I must be missing something. On a one way street, why would both mirrors tilting be helpful? |

+1. But its easier to estimate the driver side than the passenger.
Perhaps I'm missing something here (likely), but I fail to see how both mirrors down helps on one-way streets. Regardless of which side I'm parking on, I still need to keep an eye out for traffic, cyclists and pedestrians. Right?
