Last month, went to local tire dealer and asked his suggestions for winter tires. He narrowed down to Pirelli, Hankook, and CrossConti's. When I asked about Nokian's, he rolled his eyes back, said "well now we're in a completely different league. There's is NOTHING, NOTHING like a Hakka!" He tracked down some Hakka 5 SUV's in Denver and had them shipped. Told me that if I waited a couple of weeks, I probably wouldn't find any available.
Funny part was after I ordered them (235/65/18's per suggestions in these threads) and turned to leave, everyone else waiting in line was now wondering about these "hakka tires". Nobody's heard of them!
I'll wait till Thanksgiving to install...:2: |
