I just got my bumpers, front garnish, and grill painted. So far i changed my fog and DRL to mtech HIDs. including my front signal lights. LEDs in the interior. 22in Merceli rims with yoko parada tires. 12in kicker sub with amp and kicker tweeters on the rear passenger door. Debadged and tail lights tinted. Weathertech window visors. Next project will be to install a flip down tv and add tvNavi module so i can watch it through my navigation.

I have mixed feelings ...but i can appreciate when someone is trying new things and personalizing his/her vehicle :29: I like how the grill and bumpers came out.... not sure about painting the garnish though... and don't know if it would look better without the bar on the back in the tow hitch... but i guess that's a good protection against getting hit from the back by a slow rolling car etc. especially in NY.
Keep up the work :) I'm sure you're giving those black X owners ideas of things to try. |

i was thinking of keeping the lower garnish unpainted but the whole x is black and that grey would stick out like a soar thumb so i decided to paint it. I know lots of people have mixed feeling about the hitch bumper bar but i like it! i got rear ended hard by a drunk going atleast 10 mph or more and there was no body damage not to mention tight spaces for parking. some people cant park without banging bumpers. It also matches the side steps. |

Looks good, save for the rear step. But I understand about the protection it offers.
Reminds me of :

p.s. Ever think about removing the amber in the headlights and blacking out the inside? |
