It was a good year and 15,000 miles with my MDX, but my needs have changed and I just sold my MDX tonight.

07 Sport with Entertainment, Aspen White Pearl with Bordeaux Interior.

Replaced by a 2009 Subaru WRX Hatchback.

Pardon the crappy cell phone pics!

um, congratulations ?!

if you don't me asking - how badly did you get hosed on trade-in ?
pbm317
They were able to find a bidder for well over KBB excellent trade in value, so I was pretty shocked by that, I was waiting for the worst, seeing as how other dealers were quoting Mannheim auction values in the mid to upper 20's, but actually got much much higher, and still got the new 09 WRX for Invoice, which is kinda hard in the area since they just came out and they're a fairly hot commodity here in Seattle.

Life changes, needs change... I'm glad that you were able to get such a good deal on your X, and that you switched to such a cool automobile. The WRX is a terrific car, and a blast to drive. Good luck with it, and enjoy!

Please tell me you didn't do it because of the fuel mileage.

I'm jealous - I wanted a WRX but it didn't have enough room for Costco and the car seat and the bugaboo stroller for the kid. Oh and the wife :)

Thanks guys, I enjoyed the community here.

It's not because of the mileage (the turbo is kind of addicting) but that's an added perk!

Just wanted something sportier to drive, and got the right deal to not get hosed on the trade.

Fuel economy is rated at 19 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA for the five-speed, and 20 and 24 mpg, respectively, for the automatic so I don't think it was a switch for mileage... they are kinda close to the X's mpg.

Congrats on the new ride :29: subarus are good vehicles... enjoy!!

From the back, it looks like a lowered rx350.

Mine is actually rated at 18/25 per the sticker, and the 09 WRX is no longer offered with an automatic. On my quick errands so far the trip computer is reading 27 mpg...

I believe the MDX is now rated 15/20 and my MDX trip computer was consistently 16-17.5 for a tank. Calculated myself, it was usually around 16.5-17.2.
