| What are the 2002 mdx going for? I was told $1,500 over MSRP. Did anyone get it for lower than that? |

Titirata, welcome. If you're asking what dealers are asking for 2002, rather than what Acura's newly revised MSRP is, you'll find that price varies by dealership. If you search around on this site, you'll find many threads here on dealer pricing practices, predatory pricing, time-to-delivery, forced options, etc.
But i can tell you from my experience that it's possible to buy a 2002 without paying more than MSRP. I'm just not expecting it anytime soon.
Good luck.

| Ablank, thanks for the reply. Yes, I was asking for the dealer asking price. I called a few of them in my area and indeed found a great variance in price/delivery time. Ranges from MSRP with 6 month wait to MSRP +$3K for 3 week for 2002. |

Here's a current thread that pretty much spells out your options. If you're comfortable ordering from an out-of-state dealer, you can almost always find a better price and timeframe--up to a point.

| In Houston, I have gotten quotes from two dealers, both at MSRP plus a few accessories. One threw in pin stripe, front window tint, and protection package. The other threw in 2-yr maintenance agreement plus accessories at cost. |

If you want immediate availability, MSRP + $1.5K is not too bad. But, I rather wait and pay MSRP price. I'd call different dealers and use the best price to negotiate with closer dealer or dealer with shorter wait period. |
