Hi,
I'm not posting this in the problem area because I'm not sure if it indeed is a problem at all. I remembered you guys discussed about it some time ago but I couldn't find it so I'm here to ask again. Whenever I step on the brake, there's the sound that seems like air is rushing out from somewhere down there in the brake pedal region. Is that normal? Or do I need to take it to the dealer for a brake breeding job? Generally how much you have to push in before you can sense the braking of the vehicle?
Thanks. |

| Yes it's normal, it's the vaccuum assist for the power brakes. |

Huh?
I guess I haven't been paying attention. I haven't noticed any kind of sound when i step on the brakes. I will check it out!
btw, Kcl, I hope you are not BREEDING your brakes.:D jk. |

| There is also a rubber boot that protects the brake pedal assembly under the dash, when the brakes are pushed the rubber boot is compressed and forces air out. There has been some discussion about this on other threads. |
