Since the last contect was such a huge success, I thought we should all come up with suggestions for new contests.

Here's my suggestion:
What is the amount of the largest dollar order that Tim has received. The person that gets closest without going over (like the price is right) wins.
Robyjo
Hmm...do you think Tim wants to really share that number with us?

Rob

It doesn't have to be that question -- I'm just trying to get the ball rolling for new contest ideas.
DMor
I think he already mentioned the answer to that and I think I already touched on that one in the other thread. I'd have to EXPLORE the other thread for confirmation. I believe he said something about it being "two brothers" in NewYork...or someplace.

Tim had an idea cook'n. I guess we'll just have to rattle his cage over there!! :)

My record for sales was just broken by somebody from this forum recently.....I don't know if they want to be identified. For one vehicle, around $2600.

There's a lot of things I was supposed to do this month, and I got about half of them done.....sales volume here has literally quadrupled in the last two weeks (as anyone calling here and getting a busy signal can testify to).

Hmm....contest, contest......

Okay, here's one.....first person to come up with the correct answers:

1. acuramdx.org owner that owns a Great Pyr dog
2. dealership that employed a salesman that once came here quoting the Bible about charging over MSRP.
3. my nationality
4. acuramdx.org user name of the fellow that did the Razo group buy
5. The two people that won my last two contests
6. Acura part number of the front brake rotors for an MDX (this will make you call your dreaded local parts department for a Halloween scare!)

First member with the correct answers will receive two glass Acura beer mugs, and an MDX model!

Have a go at it!

OK...all-i-wanna-know-is...how many of you guys REALLY called your local Acura Dealer for those part numbers and how many COPIED Elvira? Huh? Fess up... Plus, I got so excited, I dialed 411 to get the dang number. At least I didn't go for the 50 cent connection.
davegood
I actually submitted a request to acurapartsonline.com or something and requested a prive code on it.

Although I was happy to see that the number matched so that they we're giving me their 'internal' part number.

I, for one, was at the dealer today for my weeping mirror fix. However, you better be right! :D
Robyjo
:D DMor...

Actually, I called my friendly neighborhood Acura dealership and talk to Jim in parts...the only tough part was when I said, "Just to confirm, that's for the front rotors, right?" And he rudely said, "That's what you requested..."

Proof is that your post wasn't up when I was writing mine...

happy halloween, maybe not for him, i guess...

Robyjo was the first to anwer correctly! Good job!

I see this contest was a bit more difficult....but you got it!

I'm glad to see people are using the "search" function well. Those are some older threads!
Robyjo
Thanks Tim! I'd like to thank all the little people that have helped me along the way...

Yeah, thank God for search, but I remembered your joke about the Ukranian parts manager... :)

Now--how about throwing in a hitch kit with the mugs? :D

Actually the original spelling of my last name is Polynack, which is the more Uke version, so that would have thrown people a bit (unless you used "search"). It's strange, there are only a few Poliniaks scattered around the country, but in the little town of Shamokin PA, we're like a whole page in the phone book!

Which, by the way, is where you can find the best pyrohy (pierogi) in the world!

I searched for posts from hondacuraworld that had the term '*ian'
in them. Came up in the first post. Gotta use those wildcards (*).
