| Hi yall, I'm new to the site and after searchign around, I must say I'm very impressed. There's not to many MDX's around here but everyone I've shown mine to is very impressed, even had a few take interest in purchasing one. My question is does anyone have instructions on how to install the Acura sidesteps. We ordered ours and they came with no instructions. Rather than paying extra to have them insalled we attempted to do it on our own...but alas to no avail. I was wondering if there was a site where i coudl get instructions on how to insall them or perhaps someone could walk me through it. Thank you kindly for any assitence you can provide. Love the site...Flipmad |

Welcome to the home of MDX enthusiasts. I learned a lot from this site and I hope you also find it as informative as I have.
Are you a Filipino by any chance? |

| Hey NaNaLi, I'm looking forward to driving my MDX all the way to NY this coming Holidays. Can't wait to finally drive my X for more than 12 hours. Do any of you visit kotse.com? That's another cool car site I frequent every now and then. Traditional Filipino warmth and comaraderie........ see you guys there (BTW, my handle there is MaDmaX981) :) |

Hey Macky,
Wasn't aware of that site (kotse.com). But will definitely visit it. I actually considered getting an MDX from the Carolinas not sure if it was North or South 'tho. I think the dealers name is Leigh/t Acura and the drive was about 9 hrs. when I checked Mapquest from where I live. Dealers up here a bunch of @#$%^&*$ about they're price, so I started calling out of state dealers. I ended up ordering from PA instead, about 3 hrs. drive. Any other Pinoys around? |

NaNaLi,
You must be looking somewhere by North Carolina. Yup, 9 hours from NY will take you to Virginia or NC. I sure am glad I didn't got the treatment that most of the MDXers here experienced from their dealers. I got mine from Bradshaw Acura for $1K under MSRP, which I thought at that time was an over kill (ofcourse I haven't been in this site)! And I waited more than a month for it........ so far aside from the weeping mirrors, I have no complaints and would gladly recommend Bradshaw Acura to anyone anytime (salesperson is Evan Lindsay).
So........ you're also into IT. My wife and I are PAs for an insurance company here in SC. We also had some banking experience way back in the Philippines (maybe you've heard of the ICBS banking software) and we're here thru H1Bs. We've only been here for more than 2 years now and so far, we haven't met any Filipinos yet (maybe we're not going out more often). We do go to church to meet them but sad to say, most of them are snobs (why?)........
That's why, I've been browsing to the net to meet as many Filipinos as I can........ so as not to miss home :( |
