My buddy just bougth a Lexus GS 300 with navi. Once you enter a destination in the system, after the car in motion faster than 5mph, you can not make any changes to the navi system such as change destination etc... Does anyone know if the MDX have the same limitation?

| No, the Acura Nav doesn't have that limitation; you can program while in motion. I have the GS and the MDX. I actually like the Lexus nav (Denso) better (I find it faster, a bit more intuitive, and the points-of-interest search is better/quicker with superior distance sorting), but the 5mph lockout is a major shortcoming IMO. The Acura nav (Alpine) is excellent, too; lotsa folks prefer it to Lexus'. |
