| Has any one tried to install a full size spare in place of the temp that comes with the MDX? Will one fit in the space and if so, does it change the appearance from the rear. I will have a tow hitch installed. |

| I have a full size spare. The spot is designed to tow a full size spare. The fullsize spare sticked down about 1.5 inch. You can see from behind and below the bumper. But the exhaust heat shield is till 2 inches lower than the spare. If you have a htich, you will not see the full size spare. |
