I am waiting to buy a MDX, but am a little preturbed that honda may come out with their own version for a lot less. Check out the Honda Pilot on the left of the second row. It looks MDX sized to me.

This has been discussed in other threads. The point to remember is that you are buying a luxary car. Think about Lexus vs Toyota, Infiniti vs Nissan.. certainly Acura vs Honda. The "regular" version will be just that ... regular. It will be less luxary and more trucky. When I was shopping at Toyota Highlander.. the Lexus Rx300 salesman said the Rx is "much quieter." Anyway, there will be different selling points for the Honda's Pilot (aka the MDX counterpart). If nothing else, IMHO, I won't buy the first year of anything. And the price of the high-end of the Honda will be closer to the Acura MDX (which remains the mosted demanded SUV out there...)
