I have a Alphine aftermarket CD changer that I was thinking of putting in my MDX (when it arrives). Its one of those that plugs into the radio antenna and plays through the radio. Is there any advantages in getting the CD Changer that Acura says? Does the base stereo have CD changer controls already?
Thanks for any help you can give me. |

The Acura CD changer can be controlled by either of the MDX head units. Alpine is the maker of the Acura CD changer, so, depending on which aftermarket model you have, it is possible that it will plug into your MDX head unit with an adapter.
Besides being able to control the CD Changer from the head unit, the Acura Genuine Parts player also has mounting brackets so it is easy to install under the driver's seat. It will also have better sound quality than using the FM modulator, although it may be difficult to tell the difference on the road. |

Hi:
Have anyone upgraded the standard speakers with Polk Audio, MB Quart, etc? |
