Hi All,
As I ordered my Burlwood shift knob from Tim last week at Hondacuraworld, I begged him to bring back some of his old specials that happened before I joined the 'X' community.
He said he would see what he could do, but he mentioned that if I were to initiate a group buy here at acuramdx.org, he'd bring back the specials independent of his monthly steals. Hopefully, there should be enough of us newbies to help everyone out...
So here's my pitch...
With the 'X' showing up in about 4 weeks, I'm running out of time to get my wife the rest of the goodies she expects on her new truck...okay, I want them too... :D Here's my wish list:
Fender Flares
Tailgate Deflector
Towing Package (my dealer says he'll install for $220 if I provide genuine Acura parts...) :D
I think Tim mentioned 15 as the magic number for group buy. (Tim, if I have misspoken anywhere here, please publicly flog me.)
Anybody interested? If so, please post to this thread.
On a different note, I want to thank everyone for their insight and wisdom. I've learned so much, and it just keeps getting better.
For what it is worth, next to Tim, Zaino is the greatest thing ever created for the auto industry. I've got a 3-year-old black Ford Contour that looked better than it did the day it was delivered after one application...wow!

Fifteen for a group buy is fine, however I won't be able to do the trailer hitch deal....it just weighs too much and UPS costs are high.

| Okay, what we have to do here is get organized. If you can get 15 people in any thread to buy something in a group, I'll drop the price as I can. Once the correct amount is reached, I'll announce the price and then everyone can decide for themselves if they want to go ahead and purchase. Just because you post doesn't mean you are under obligation to buy. But, it's a good way to get an additional discount :) |

My suggestion -- if you're interested in something start each on it's separate thread....
Running Boards / Side Step signup
Cargo Liner Signup
Splash Guards signup....
you get the idea. That way, it is easy to see how much interest there is. |

Rather than individual threads, why not just have a single poll with the list of potential GB items. Since Tim says we wouldn't be obligated, we don't need to know (right now) who wants what, just how many of each item might be purchased. For the items that have 'enough' (15 or more), we can start a thread for real signup, or Tim can give us a code, or whatever the best next step would be.

| I'd rather not do it that way because it implies that the group buys would last indefinitely, which they don't. For group buys, I usually give a 2-3 week time frame and after that, they're done. |

im getting my mdx with tour navigation this month. interested to get the hitch but my only use is for my mtb bike rack. anyway, i wanted to install only acura accessories so i want to know how good the price is. let me know.

There are separate threads for:
1. Front Air Deflector. Group buy has been approved.
2. Rear Air Deflector. (Almost at 15! Add your name!)
3. Fender Flairs.
