| Here are some race pics form this weekend in Palmdale, CA. No MDX's, but plenty of other Acuras doing hi 9's. Could'nt resist the fireroads off the HiWay. Grade was pretty steep. X handled Well in the Loose dry stuff. |

Careful, gto-dave,
Don't label those pics as 'off-road pics" or someone will post that their Miata could have made it!:p Ask GG about this. |

go-to-date:
Had you posted #s 10 and 11 as 1 and 2, we wouldn't have got to the rest of your post. Good ones! :) |

My friends lowered civic could've taken those trails... (Just kidding)
The pictures do make me jealous since I don't live in an area with dirt roads like that to try my 'X' in nor do I live in an area that sees snow... |

| Hi 9's! That is Quick! BTW, did you get the number on number 10? Pics like that detract from the MDX; although not a bad distraction..... |

You're a goof!!! One tries to add some nice stuff to the group and there's always someone ready to pounce. While I won't knock the fact that Gator has posted true offroad, have you ever seen a Pikes Peak race? Smooth fireroads with steep incline. I was able to get going on 30 degree(+) slopes up and down carrying speeds upwards to 25 mph. I would'nt harp on that. It was a total blast kicking up the dust and riding the edges of some pretty steep cliffs. The MDX surely is no off road beast, so driving on smooth fireroads, plenty of power slides, and grade speed management are it's finest traits.
Just enjoy the shots as everyone else seems too. |

gto,
I am on your side - I love it when people post pics of the MDX, especially when they leave the pavement.
I was simply trying (quite unsuccessfully I guess:eek: ) to be funny in light of a recent post by GG in this thread where he was (in my view) ridiculed for posting off-road pics that some didn't feel were challenging enough. I guess you didn't see the thread (sorry I did not link it before) and I apologize if my misguided reference didn't lead you there. If you follow the linked thread, you will see that I share your viewpoint. I think dakster caught my joke and thus the reference to the lowered Civic.
P.S. I did enjoy the shots. Thanks. |

AAAHHHH !!!
Now I understand. Guess when you're not around enough, you dont get the insiders. understood, so I'll just take the goof back and give it to "jastevenson" idiot . You know who that fool is.

| Actually, many of my friends might be willing to go along with that assertion.:D Just wanted you to know I was not criticizing the pics. We getting snow here in Mich. so maybe this will give me inspiration to plow through some drifts and take a few pics! |
