Specifically I'm installing the Audiovox MVP700-DVD http://www.discountmobilevideo.com/items/item381.htm.
Has anyone here installed a flip-down video screen yet in the MDX? I saw one installed at the local Acura dealer and it seemed pretty secure but I want to make sure there is a brace to mount the screen to up there where the sunroof slides back.
Also, if anyone has any advice to give before (or how) removing the headliner I'd appreciate it. It would cut down on my time extensively if I didn't have to needle around looking for the hidden tabs, etc.

I did actually look at that site and while the price of the system may be actually $100 more they offered free shipping, cheaper rates on the extra headphones and accessory cable kits and they were in stock. Overall it didn't amount to more than a $40 difference either way.
At any rate it's already been purchased and due to arrive today, does anyone have any advice before I actually begin the installation? |
