| Has anyone done it? How easy was it? Just curious. Still waiting for my MDX, but my tailgate deflector is on its way from Tim!!! At least I'll have something to remind of my MDX until it gets here in March, heheh. |

| I've installed a couple of these. It's fairly simple, but make sure you measure for the correct drill holes. There are more places marked than actually need to be drilled. Just follow the installation instructions. |

Sorry, I can't reveal my knowledge source.
BTW, it's necessary to remove the front bumper to attach the Lower Trim. |

|
|
| got it, how long did you take to complete one installation? |
|
|
|
| It probably took about an hour. It's alot easier if you have someone to help remove and reinstall the bumper. |

Rentua,
You obviously have an insider's knowledge to MDX lower trim installation but how about the fender flares? Do both involve drilling holes in the vehicle and if so does that break the paint/electrocoating and thus create opportunities for corrosion? I am having both installed on my MDX which is supposed to be deliveried in April and would appreciate any insights you might have. |

The fender flares use existing holes and clips. There is no drilling necessary.
There's no corrosion possible for the lower trim since holes are only created through the bumper material. |

Hi Rentua,
Thanks for inforamiton, seems I can install the Lower Trim by my self, at least, I will try.
But for Fender Flares, I wnader I can do by myself, If the installation invlove uninstall on the wheel, it might be tough to have self install.
Do you have any opinion on do-it-yoursefer, thanks.
Best Reg.
