Here is a rule of thumb when it comes to scratches on car paint surface:
*If you can your index finger, curve it and let the point of your finger and the nail of your index finder glide over the scratch if your nail catches on to the crevice of the scratch...Chances are you will not be able to use detail liquids or equipment to get rid of the scratch.
*Another rule thumb is if your scratch goes to the primer or beyond primer to bare metal or to the base surface of your plastic bumper.
If the two situation above applies to you, the only way to get rid of the scratch is auto body paint work at an approved Acura auto paint place. |
