I saw another X on the highway today and wondered if they knew about Acuramdx.org. I remembered how I just happened across it by way of doing research on the MDX via an internet search engine. It made me wonder how most of us ended up here. Just curious! (Must be the marketer in me!)

(I checked to make sure this poll hadn't been done before. My apologies if hit has).

I was referred by my co worker because I was looking for some accessories. His X is 01'GG and also I'm glad he did because now I know how to add accessories to my X.

I added "Edmunds" to your list...I think there are a few of us who found .org via a threadlink/reference in their forums.

Cool! I wondered about that, but since that wasn't my experience, I wasn't sure if that type of link existed. Thanks!

... but also Edmund's.

Prior to buying the MDX I was a consistent poster on Edmunds (same userid) and a "lurker" here. In fact I "lurked" a couple of months AFTER ordering the MDX. I only registered and started posting a few weeks before taking delivery.

As I recall when I finally joined officially and started posting (recall same userid) wmquan, among others, commented wondering where I had been.

I must confess this is a great site and a great group. For about a month or so I tried to keep up with both Edmunds and here, but it was too much of a hassle; I do not need to say who won:D

Used my trusty Google and searched for Acura MDX owners groups.
It worked. I appreciate this board very much.

Just prior to the arrival of my MDX, I learned that the dealer was charging almost three times the price for certain accessories. I was upset, and did a Coppernick search for MDX accessories and found this forum.

I was on another MDX forum that had been started at my repeated request, and there were almost no posts on it (in comparison to the Explorer forum by the same folks). Then somebody posted and suggested I could find an answer to my questions at acuramdx.org -- and there's no goin' back!:D

Found it while looking for a Yahoo MDX user group.

found this place while looking for MDX info in yahoo.
I'm so glad I found this place because it is so full of useful info and the people here are genuinely nice, while knowledgable.
BTW the dealer called and my 'X should be here within the week.
I'm so excited, I can't even sleep and I think my girlfriend is starting to become a little jealous that I am so interested in a automobile (that isn't even here yet) than her.
Oh well. I always know my 'X will always love me no matter what!;)

A salesman at Mac Churchill Acura in Ft. Worth told me about this site early in my "shopping" process. I called several dealers in the DFW area & this salesman said I could get a lot of info from this forum. I eventually bought from another dealer for several reasons, the first being the salesman never returned 3 calls.
shocker
I found it on Google, my trusty search engine. I been reading and reading ever since. My wife says that it's an addictions.....and thinks I might need treatment.

Last week when I was at my Doctor's office, I asked him if he had ever owned an Acura? He said, "No.....why?" I said told him that we had just ordered a new vehicle and it would be perfect and fitting for him....an MDX. He laughed an kept stitching me up. Well, I tried. Perhaps after he sees it???

We're still waiting on delivery, but I can almost count the days.

Although this poll is closed, I would have voted as 'other' - I was on the Yahoo MB replying to some clown that was bashing the 'X and came across a previous post that mentioned this site for info and Tim's site for accessories & parts. Best segway I ever made, gotta stay away from Yahoo, they don't seem to police or monitor their MB's.

I heard of it through my dealer after he handed me my keys! I could have saved $200 on the rear deflector if I had known.

When I was in the market for an SUV I was doing research. I came across a website that had pictures and opinions on the MDX. I couldn't remember the site nor did I bookmark it. I type acuramdx.org and found this place. Dang! I too could have saved a bundle.

Though poll is closed, I found the site doing a search on www.dogpile.com under acura mdx

I found it doing a search on Internet and then referred a couple of folks who own an MDX to it. I also encouraged my dealer to check it out!
