Moonroof visor, Mud Guards, Shift Knob - Click HERE for Original Thread

I ordered all 3 of these to be installed myself. Any helpful suggestions, or are they all very easy?
I haven't installed the moonroof visor, but heard it is relatively easy.

I was told that the Wood Shift Knob you just screw on.
CAKE !

Mud guards: Remove the rear wheels one at a time. It is very time consuming trying to reach in with a stubby screw driver and applying the correct pressure needed to properly place the last screw through the metal. Just remove each wheel 1 at a time with the jack and they go on in seconds.
Nice and tight. Easy installation, great price & well worth it in the snow. God knows I tested them in the snow.
Nothing kicks up on the paint in the rear of the MDX now.

Good luck !
:D
If you prefer not to REMOVE THE WHEELS (which I didn't), do the following:
1. Use a "Z" shaped philips head screwdriver (this looks like a 2-headed allen wrench with a screwdriver head on each end) for the screws along the edge of the fender (you can use an electric screwdriver for the screw in the wheel-well).
2. To ease installation of the "3rd" screw (supplied in the kit), pre-screw it in the dimple in the plastic fender to make a hole. Remove screw and add the provided clip. It takes about 10 minutes per side.
I had the stubby screwdriver...not the "Z"....still sounds difficult to apply pressure.

Hey....whatever works man !
:D

Actually, I wiggled a little hole using the end of a needle-nose plier, then put the screw in and it grabbed pretty easily. Unfortunately, I live in NYC and its more of a pain to yank out the jack and pop off the tire (I would have been "Stopped and Frisked" for suspicion of stripping an MDX).
