Hi,
My brake and battery light seem to come on while driving for a few seconds then it goes out. I cannot reproduce the problem, since it happens without any indication, so the dealer has been no help. I don't understand why they have to see the problem before checking on anything. It is really annoying.
Anyway, has anyone seen this problem, or has a resolution for it.

I too had (have) this problem. Mine happened a couple of times after hard braking. Another tap on the brake pedal would turn the lights off. I saw this only a few times in the first few months of ownership. I have not seen it in the past 8 months.
The dealer could not help b/c they could not reproduce it. I'm thinking there might be a wire with some insulation worn through somewhere that might occasionally be touching metal.
Not sure what you can do about it. |
