Here is as pic of my Silver X with the stock flares installed. Installation was straightforward, the instructions were thorough. They can be installed in an afternoon.
I debated awhile before getting the flares, since I did not know how the gray flares would look, or whether I should have them painted. My decision was made when I saw then on a silver at my dealer, and I liked the contrast. I thought the metalic gray looked fine on silver, better than most of the X colors.
They make the X look a little more sporty, more on the SUV spectrum and a little less minivan. I am still a little dissapointed in how Acura integrated the flares with the flaps, they could have done a better job. Faults and all, I still thought it was an improvement.
