| My brother in-law just got laid off. He's being potentially offered a job at a military base in San Antonio(civilian position). He's got a wife and 3 kids. For those people living there or who used to live there, what recommendations do you have. Good place to raise kids? Would you live there if you had the option of going someplace else? Do you like it? What don't you like? Thanks for your responses. |

| ... and love to visit San Antonio (we are about 2 1/2 hours away). We have spent a lot of time in San Antonio and love the city. My kids love the city; SixFlags Fiesta Texas, Sea World, a great zoo, the Alamo, downtown Riverwalk, close to Schlitterbaun, etc. I would not hesitate to live there. |

| We live in Schertz, TX just North of SA in the Randolph AFB Area. SA is a big city that has kept the friendly feel of a smaller town. TexMex, BBQ, and Longnecks. Life is good. |
