Honda has announced the pricing of the Pilot, available next month in Canada.

Honda Canada has set the entry-level price of its
new Pilot sport-ute at $41,000, in preparation for
its June 3, 2002 sell-date.

The 8-passenger SUV comes in two trim levels --
EX at $41,000 and the EX-L starting at $43,000.
Built exclusively at Honda's Alliston (Ontario) plant,
all Pilots feature a 240-hp V6, 5-speed automatic
transmission and automatic 4-wheel drive

This is in comparison to an MDX Touring Model (no nav) that retails for $49,000 CDN.

Ironically, that may be a much better deal on the MDX than folks in the U.S. get. That's only a $6,000k CDN difference between the Pilot EX-L and the MDX Touring (no nav).

Meanwhile, the difference between a U.S Pilot EX-L and the MDX base (Premium) is $4,220 U.S! Toss in another $2,600 U.S. to go from the base MDX to the Touring!

I believe the Canadian Pilot EX has heated seats, something you can't get on the U.S. Pilot.
