Worm, the photos of your car remind me of the alien in Predator, like your car is blending into the environment.

| Dale, best shine I've seen on a GG! Doesn't bode well for the weather w/2 Bay Area X'ers shining 'em up before the weekend ;) |

I knocked these off early this morning ona bread & bagel run, not too happy with focus or exposure.
Will have better ones later today..or tomorrow, Happy Holiday! |

Last one gives you a better idea of the front window tint, just enough for a cop to say, "Hmm maybe, but not enough to take me away from my donut to ask."
I'll probably eat those words some day!!
(Hitch is in the mail, for those wondering)

Stranger things have happened! :)
If you check out the front winshield far over on the driver side, the 'light colored dot' near the pillar, is where the Autobahn Mirror is mounted. Just below that you can just make out the small dark shape which is the Autobahn Mirror. I had reservations about it, but after almost 2 weeks I would not want to be without it! I highly recommend it for the 'blind spot' we don't think is there.
I haven't heard from Marne in a bit, would be interested in his experience with it, which has been for a while. |

| hey Dale- lovet your MDX, but ya gotta get rid of the white plastic front license plate frame!!! :4: |
|
|
| DaleB |
Yeah, I know. It says Acura of the Desert
I kind of like that because if almost doesn't sound like a dealership, but where the X was launched! I drove it out of the desert! Quite literally....
I am considering options. Maybe a plain stainless in front, have the acuramdx.org in back. |

| Nice pictures Dale. And a great color choice! I got this urge to put a couple more coats of Zaino on my MDX tomorrow. |

Hey Dale- here is a recommendation:

I have one on the front of my MDX- looks nice, sits under hood logo, yet is inconspicuous.
Larry, do those come with allen screws? |
|
|
| larryhot13 |
| they are Acura Authorized Plates with Philips head screws. Chrome plastic caps come with it too, but they dont really fit well over the screw caps. I would have called to complain, but the screws look fine/arent even noticeable. I also got the anti-glare shield that protects the plate from getting dirty for the extra 3 bucks, well worth it. |

I got more subtle, and ordered the black frame with Acura letters raised in chrome.
I will probably pick up a set of the tamper
proof screws at Pep Boys. |

Beautiful pics! Now I know what mine will look like once I get it and spend all day detailing :)
Since it's going to be my wife's, I've already told her that she has to do her share ;)

Hey Guys,
Do our MDX's require a front air deflector? I mean is our hood more prone to stone debris? And is everytone buying the ACURA Deflecotr or are they buying them from the other manufacturers out there?
p.s. I called for the fender flares today. $520 plus $400 painted is too outrageous for them, and they are not even installed, ugh!
Thanks

Most of us get the Form-Fit from Hondacuraworld.com
It does save the hood, as well as reduce (not eliminate) objects hitting the windshield. |
