For those of you thinking about ordering Zaino in the immediate future, I'd suggest waiting a week or so...seeing if we might be able to get a Group Buy together...we're about 6 weeks ahead of where we'd normally be able to, but it seems that Zaino season is coming into swing.
 We're going to explore doing this GB differently than previous ones -- by buying by the case and splitting the orders -- to try and get some flexibility in the "freebie" part.

| I keep reading about zaino on this site and as an X newby I'm convinced. I'm not sure which products but I will check the zaino site to be sure. I understand you need a base product first, so at least that and the "good stuff" to go over it. |

Sure! I won't be getting the "X" for several weeks (couple 'o months maybe) but in reading all the posts, I can see that it is the only way to go.
I also don't really know which products to get, so if there is a "base" package that can be assembled, I'd definately go with that!

I'll post the suggested 'getting started' stuff once we confirm there's enough interest.
Unlike prior Zaino GP's we've done, where you'd get one free z7 wash for 4 or more items purchased, I'm hoping that we'll be able to case-buy stuff and redistribute, providing the free z7 at a minimum with some additional flexibility beyond the '4 or more' rule.
Assuming there's enough interest (which I imagine there will be), I'll set up a website where you can provide details on which product(s) you want, so the correct number of cases can be purchased...obviously, details on the freebies/spiffs will be hammered out beforehand...

Well, now that ~20 people have responded, I realized that we ought to be using the fancy Group Buy functionality that Daniel built into the new site :27:

I am interested. I've already signed up on the group buy page. I'll be interested in a z1, z2, z5, z6, z7, and z18. Maybe zfx too. Does the normal group buy on this product give you a free z7? Do they still give you the free applicator pads?
Also, it seems that buying by the case saves about one dollar a bottle. It would take buying 7 items to save the price a z7. Is there somthing I am misunderstanding about this deal? |

That's correct. But, we're trying to swing something that will, at a minimum, be as good as the regular deal and better at higher quantities.
I should have a framework w/some detail by the end of the week.
Like I said, worst case is that we do the "traditional" route... |

On second look the blue in the pictures is the reflection of the sky from your highly shined X. When I first got home with the X my wife thought I was nuts when I told her the Black had Blue in it. It wasn't till the next day when in bright sunlight that she finally could see the blue. She still probably thinks I'm nuts thought, especally since I got this vehicle. |

The counter updates immediately (screen refresh). However, if you're already in the count, it won't let u add yourself again. So, you must already be in there :confused:

sounds fine, it will give me time to get bsm's from tim first and install them before i zaino the cr*p out of the X and have to clean it off for the mouldings!

Anyone use Zaino on their watercraft, especially jet skis versus boats? I have atough time with water spots at the river out here when we go to Lake haxasu or laughlin. Does your Zaino work well in getting them off, preventing them and doe sZaino work well with the fiberglass versus the 303 product or other watercraft/boat waxes and polishes.

seems at least z1 polish lok and the z2 or z5 to go over it, and many seem to recommend z6 as well. but,i'm just as much a newbie as you are!:D |

I seem to have problem with the GB counter, I tried a few times (joined, abandoned), but the counter remained unchanged. In any event, I am IN this GB - here is what I would like to order: Z5, Z6, Z9, Z16. I assume we still get a free Z7 for ordering 4 products (plus a free applicator since order > $25).
BTW has anyone tried Z12 (glass/chrome polish)? Any testimonial/comments? |

be careful what you wish for - you'll be spending 1/2 a day at least using Zaino the 1st time! Not that it isn't worth it...because it is! Trust me, I only started using this stuff about 3 months ago, and I don't think I'll be using something else again. |

Worm's first post on this topic was 6/1/02 and in spite of all of his efforts, and thru no fault of his own, we are all still waiting......and waiting.
Worm DID say we were 6 weeks ahead of schedule for ordering back then, so I presume Sal at Zaino is holding us to that timeframe, come hell or Z7.
I guess we'll have to settle for the Z7. ;) |

Snail mailed order to Sal on July 5 from Dallas. Received product 7/11. That beats most of the internet/phone order companies I use, unless I elect 2-day air (and pay for it).
