| How do you cleane the plastic covers on the gauges without scratching them? |

Ligihtly dust with a very soft cloth. Use Novus #1 plastic cleaner for smudges. If there are scratches go with Novus #2 to be followed with #1.
I found Novus also great for the fake wood trim. And it does repel dust. |

Sometimes being reitred has it's bennies.
Sitting here answering questions is one, avoiding doing work around the house is not the other! |

So NOW we know why you have so much time for all those posts :4: |

Well, until the family converges on me for this or that I try my best.
My wife was happy I got the MDX so I would shut up about it....said I was acting like a teenager.
Now that we have it she loves it.
But this forum is a kick. I am a home electronics nut too, and used to spend a lot of time on those forums, but haven't found any as good as this one.
Yes, but it amazes me how much time some of you people have on here that work 40+ hours a week. I was in management so I am begining to really wonder.....:14: |

Now that's original! It's OK, I used to often see my boss suddenly move his mouse around quickly and click away when I walked in his office..:D |

I still have a long way to retirement, but I'm also an electonics nut. I spend a lot of time on AA (that's Audio Asylum) and several other HT and DIY sites.
I'm a freelancer, which is kind of like being retired, but in spurts.
I'm starting to see the X is going to be a diy electronics playground. I'm itching to get started modding the nav, and getting some kind of editing software for the engine programs.
If anyone has ever played with LT1 edit, used to mod the computers of the GM 350, you know how much fun and how much more can be squeezed from otherwise stock engine configurations! NOTE: You can also render your car useless...but it's like livin on the edge, baby!
I am SUCH a geek.. |
