What happened to your Hondacuraworld.com web site?

Of all things, I get a place holder for personal web sites with Hondacuraworld.com at the top of the page.

If I try to go to my old bookmarked web site for accessories, my browser says the file is not on the server.

Anyone else having trouble getting to Tim's web site?

I went to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch today - closed for litigation with landlord!

I tried to go to one of my favorire websites today - this is a place holder...

What next? This could get serious.

Let a website not work correctly for a few minutes and everyone wants to know what happened!! I feel your pain Tim, I live it everyday being a Network Engineer for a webhosting company. Everyone expects 99.9% uptime and for the network to never go down. The last 30 days we have been at %99.963, but with over 2800 servers one is bound to be down at any given time.

right on Greg :4: My son works for a webhosting company as well, and one thing people don't understand is that servers DO crash once in a while :1:

BTW - Tim's site is up in case anyone was worried :5: - the site probably just needed a "break"

You know, I agree with people (myself included) being picky about websites working all the time, but this was not a problem with the site not responding, it was actually taking you to a totally different page that had, or seemed like it had, nothing to do with tim's site - that's a pretty serious situation. Don't judge too quickly about people's concern! Nobody was being critical, they were concerned about a favorite vendor's website, nothing more, nothing less.

Nah, the whole server shut down, for some reason. Anxious moments until it got back up online, which it is now :)

Acuramdx2002 -

I wasn't being judgemental - just agreeing with gregc :)

I didn't realize the problem was as you just described - that would be cause for concern :1: Anyway - looks like all is ok now :4:

No problem, everyone likes there favorite website available 24 x 7 x 365, but the reality is there will be times it is down or unavailable. I know you realize the complexity of web hosting. There are some people that think it is easy and we sit back all day surfing the Internet. While sometimes it is quiet, most of the time we are busy upgrading and trying to improve and optimize our network. I know our server people work hard to keep those boxes going.
