Getting ready to change VTM fluid this weekend. Owner's manual indicates that the proper torque for tightening differential bolts is 33 lb/ft. Did a search on the site to get some tips, and discovered that several members have indicated that 35 lb/ft is the proper torque to use.

So, which torque setting is correct for the rear differential bolts? Does 2 lb/ft make any difference in this case?

Also, proper torque setting for the oil drain plug is indicated to be 29 lb/ft. Does anyone actually use torque wrench to tighten the oil drain plug? I have always done it by "feel".
