Does anyone know of any good place for kid's fishing around Denver, CO area?
About 8 kids, ages from 4 to 10 are looking for their first one-day fishing trip. Just thought we (parents) can get some advices before we randomly pick up a place...

Hello there.
Colorado have one of the BEST flyfishing!!
As for Kids here are some places I totally recommend:
*ESTES PARK
1) The YMCA in Estes Park have a trout lake called LAKE DORSEY for kids. The Park Rangers stock the lake with rainbows and Trout. It is a VERY beautiful drive if you are planning to take your MDX.
2)The upper lakes in the rockies area. You can stop by ANY of the lakes there, beautiful hiking trails, great areas for picnics (NO FIRES of course) :eek: Before you enter the parks, pick up a map from the park rangers and you will be able to see directions to all the lakes. The lakes are small enought to hike around and timid enough where the terrain is flat and paved so the kids will not stray.
