I've owned my MDX for about 2 months and am very satisfied so far. There are a number of features/items/things however that would be "real nice" if they were on the MDX that are currently lacking:
1). A one touch open (and close) sunroof....I have this on an aftermarket sunroof that was put into my Lincoln and it sure beats holding that switch down every time!
2). An auto close sunroof feature when the ignition key is removed...I've already forgotten to close it twice in 2 months when we've gotten a rain shower..
3). An auto door lock feature upon shifting into drive or reaching some minimal speed....this is standard on so many lesser/chaeper cars that it really surprises me that Acura doesn't offer. With small kids like ours this is a real + in terms of safety.
4). A louder "chirp" upon alarm set from the remote...a number of times I've been in noisy areas and wasn't sure if it was set correctly...some folks don't like the loud chirp so make it a driver programmable feature (high or low or no chirp).
5). Passenger assist grab handles to help getting in and out...the MDX isn't that tall and I have no problems at 6' 1", but seniors tend to need/want these...
6). A power lumbar support vs. that little mini lever
7). Lighted steering wheel contols for radio + cruise...I'm not used to them yet and I typically get them wrong at night because no lights are present.
I'm not complaining, just wishing! Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas for improvement?? |
