| I have a strange one; my intermittent wiper function does not keep steady time. On the slowest setting, I counted as little as 2 seconds between wipes and as long as about 15 seconds. Most of the time it wipes correctly with even gaps but every once in a wile it has a long delay or a very short delay. I thought I was just preoccupied and missed something but this morning I watched and counted at different settings and it is not constant. Anyone else with this one? |

| This topic has been discussed on this forum before. The wipers speed is sensitive of your car's speed. The faster you go, the faster they work, even if the setting did not change. |

Pretty common. Happens with many delay units. The resistance is not linear at and the most delayed setting the timing circuit has a spasm. If it is really annoying you could switch another control, on the chance that it is a littler better synced up,but probably not worth it. Unless you live is a super rainy area this probably won't get better or worse or time.
Another tip: don't try to 'park' the switch at the "longest delay" setting as this may have it sitting reallyveryclose to the detent and make it want to shut off, an extra 0.5 mm will be sure that it is a "longest practical delay"... |

I didn't notice the speed change, just the delay. Also, this happened at a stop light where speed of the car was not an issue.
It is not that it can't be lived with (If as renov8r is correct that it won't get worse) I was just curious if anyone else had this happen on the MDX or is it an Issue with mine. |
