I am still holding out on the BSMs, so I thought regardless of how careful I park I am do for ding.
Well, it was not a ding, it was the plastic end cap from my Go Rhino hitch step that was stolen. I knew they were in there fairly tight, so I seriously doubt it fell out. Just someone's idea of a joke. At least they weren't inclined to key the car or some such thing.
I have Manik steps too, and the end-caps are the same diameter. The Maniks seem to fit tighter maybe I will use those.
Or glue them on, I don't know, it's ridiculous! |

| Maybe it WAS a ding that took the cap? |

Sorry to hear about the vandalism to your car. Maybe this question was asked before, but I couldn't find any reference to it in previous postings (btw, this is my 1st posting). How easy/difficult is it for someone to steal the hitch-step itself?
Thanks |

What the H.E.double hockey sticks is that!? Should I have one, if not, should I get one? |

Extremely difficult since the hitch-step is installed in the hitch with a Master Lock latch pin. |

Obviously a gentler reference to the creature. |

I think it's really cool, too. I'd almost get the towing package, even though I don't need it, just to put the step on.:4: |

I called Go Rhino and they are sending me 2 end caps, a GR hat, and a catalog all for free.
They recommended some kind of clear glue for the end caps, Super Glue, etc.
They have part numbers for the MDX for their front step grille bars, and even side steps, but no plans to produce any in the near future. Bummer! Like to get a front bar! |

| Daleb -- thanks for posting the pic. Now I know what it is, and now I have to figure out a reason not to get it (you see, the default position is to get everything, especially the cool stuff, but the practical side of me kicks in and looks for a reason not to get something...) |

I know, but I always find my 'practical' side short-lived. |
