| Has anyone used Exxon superflo oil. Is it very similar to mobil one becauz mobil and exxon are partners or somthing like that. Also i saw they have Synthetic ATF fluid. |

I would suspect that the oils are comparable, hopefully, someone else will have real data.
As to the synthetic ATF, I would urge caution. Honda specifically calls out Honda ATF and I wouldn't want to get into a warranty contest and not be 100% compliant with their "maintenance requirements". I had a 1991 Accord [now a 2001] and the mechanic [an independant] insisted that a couple of items be Honda OEM. One of the items WAS the Honda ATF, said if I want the trans to behave right, use Honda ATF -- so I did.
Personally, I'll err on the side of caution. I run Mobil-1 but will only use Honda ATF. Doesn't mean I am right, just don't know. |
