| Knocking sound when stopping (fuel tank?)

I've taken my car into the service dept a couple of times and they haven't really been able to identify the cause of the problem.
Usually when I stop, I hear a knocking sound, like something is rolling beneath the car to the front of the car. The technicians said that it's probably a swishing of the gas in the fuel tank, but I only hear one thud when I stop...it doesn't continue until I stop again. They didn't have any other explanation but I'm doubtful that's the cause...and the sound is really starting to get annoying. I just got my mdx a month ago, and I'd hate to live with this sound forever.

| Try a search (using key words: gas tank slosh sound, etc) to dig up these old threads. Perhaps reading through them will help you. |

I got my 2003 MDX less then 3 months ago and I also have this "boom" sound when either come to a stop of when sharply start. Did the dealer finally fix it ?
