No, but many families suffer the consequences of substance abuse. And they get it first hand.

Point taken. I am aware of the DUI issues and extreem instances of abuse in several areas. Not to diminish anyones personal experiences, I was taking a 'big picture' snapshot. Smoke in its very nature is carcinogenic and insidious. A stealthy agent that can affect masses on a greater scale. A person who commits DUI, or other abusive crimes related to alcohol abuse will soon be eliminated from the general poplation (all things being equal). However, I don't see it happining with smoke on the other hand.
Maybe I'm missing something?..:confused: |

Don't get me wrong, I am not against 'responsible drinking' by any means. But what would constitute responsible smoking? Keeping it out of other people's faces, I guess. |
