Thanks for posting this article.
Made me remember my silver '69 Camero with 350 cubic inches that breathed through a dual-quad and transferred power via a Hurst 4-speed shifter. It got that got, at best, about 10 mpg, but had a very very quick 0 to 60. Never the fastest in town, but somewhere in the top 20. When my normally, quite, conservative wife would take it, I'd hear her leave rubber in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and know she was grinning from ear to ear.
