Could someone recommed ANY good dealers in NJ? It seems that every dealer is GREEDY.

Thanks,
I've had my name on the list at Montclair Acura in New Jersey since August. I will be getting it before the end of December.

It seems like an eternity, but I am getting it at MSRP !!
2001 Silver MDX w/ Navigation & Touring Package = $39,450.

:D

If you go, ask for Otto Crombet and tell him SPECIFICALLY that Paul Cerruto sent you. He'll take care of you....you'll probably have to wait, but you'll get it at MSRP. I have an advantage at this dealership, trust me.
Go there & use my name !!

If you need any other information let me know or email me at: paul.cerruto@ey.com anytime. I'd be more than happy to help !

I live in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. About 5 minutes from Montclair Acura.

I also know the Dealership owner - Tom. Good guy & good people working there.

I've been treated like a KING so far !!

:D
I got mine from SUSSMAN ACURA of mapleshade (MSRP). Fortunately when I inquired last 11/10, someone backed out from a deal. so put a $500 dep. for a based MDX, just got it last Nov. 27. Try that dealer.
I have been doing a lot of research on the Acura MDX and have read various reports, magazines etc. etc. and I truly believe it is a great vehicle in its class. Coming to the issue of NJ dealers, I believe they are the worst of the lot or maybe I'm biased as they are the only ones I have dealt with so far. They are extremely arrogant and rude since they know they have a good vehicle on hand and so they can dictate their terms. My experience has so far been with "ACURA OF SOMERVILLE" and "BRUNSWICK ACURA". Fortunately I only contacted the other dealers on the phone and so was saved the hassle of a wasted trip. None of them have been forthcoming when discussing the price and availability of MDXs. Due to the high demand, they refuse to take any further orders and some options are literally being forced onto us.

One of the rude experiences that I had at AOS (Acura of Somerville) was being told by Mike (sales representative) that he did not need my business. If I did not purchase it at the price he is offering, he can very well sell it to someone else. He was downright arrogant and does not know or probably does not want to treat customers right. It is appalling that Acura is not backing a great product with equally great dealerships/salesmans.

acura4life knows the owner and still had to wait and pay MSRP? Heaven help the rest of us. (Especially in CA< the greed capital of the world.) Take a look at the dealer ratings for our state. The negitives out number the positives 10 to 1. Good luck New JERSEY>>>>>OUT>>

I,m not sure what part of New Jersey you are from but or if you are willing to cross the GW/TZ try Westchester Acura in Larchmont, NY. They told me they would sell at MSRP w/o mandatory options and that's what I was offered. I did end up taking options and some of their pricing, while lower than a competing dealer, were still on the high side. I dealt with Robert.
Took delivery of a MB w/Tour & Nav last Friday; order was in Sept. Haven't driven it since then but my wife gives very positive reviews.
I seem to remember some good press on the dealer in Montclair.
Good luck!
