| While test driving an MDX this weekend I was sitting in the back and found myself entangled in what appeared to be a seatbelt strap coming from the roof. Tell me it isn't so. How many people have removed this horribly designed center row shoulder restraint. Do all MDX's have them. |

Nothing wrong with the seatbelt. It works fine for an adult or older child. It works fine with an infant or booster car seat. If you don't need to use it, just unlatch, and store overhead out of the way.
Maybe you didn't realize that it can be stored out of the way?
And, if you were using your seatbelt, then it wouldn't have been an issue to begin with :D |

I have three teenage boys and the center seatbelt is not a problem. When its not in use its in the ceiling storage spot.
How else is Acura going to give the center passenger a shoulder strap and be able to fold the seat forward for cargo room? |

| I did not realize it can be stored up out of the way in the roof. I thought it always hung there. Good to know. |

Also, don't forget to use the car key to disengage the center seat belt mechanism.:) |
