Hello Everyone!!!:31:

I am compelled to express my gratitude to all of the contributors on this forum:

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the wealth of knowledge I have learned here (both good and bad)!

I have recently recieved some accessories from Tim, and was going to pay someone to install them. (Thanks, Tim....great service!)
I was very leery about drilling holes in my X, getting BSM lined up correctly, etc. However, thanks to the information I found here, I gained the confidence to do the work myself. (And I saved money!!!) A big thanks to everyone !!!
(I guess now I need to buy some stickers, huh)?
:D
To all the newbies (like myself) who browse this forum: Get your accessories from Tim, you'll save money, and research here before you get service done, pay for installations, etc. You will not regret it.
I was about to shell out $159 + tax for the 7500 mile service from my local Acura dealer. After reading the thread about this, I will now rethink where I get this done. Shoot, I may even do it myself.

Again, thanks. I truly appreciate all the info and pictures. :7:

Now let's get everyone in Texas together for a meet!!!:26:

David,

You sure able to do the 7500 miles all by yourself. But you need to make sure that you have a PUMP ready. It does require a pump to put VTM fluid into the X.

Good Luck~~

Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem......the pump is pretty cheap.
I've changed fluid in standard transmissions before, it's very similar.

Dave-

i was quoted $189+tax for 7500mi service from goodson acura in irving, so your $159 quote isn't that bad... did you get it from vandergriff acura in arlington?
DavidM
Um, no. I was appalled at the way I was treated at Vandergriff.
I won't go into details, but let's just say that I WILL NOT be buying my wife's new '03 Accord there!!!

I went to Mac Chrurchill Acura in West Fort Worth. (They have just recently moved to a brand spanking new facility in North Fort Worth off of NE Loop 820.

The level of service I received there was exemplary; except for the finance person I dealt with. (He flat-out lied to me......again, I won't bore you with the details...) Other than that, every person, including the service department has been nothing short of spectacular. I would highly recommend them.

Hey DavidM,

Searched for a deal high and low and McChurchill gave me the best Deal. They were very professional and courteous. By the way I from N.O. but brothers and friends are in Dallas and Fort Worth.
