I have 2 American Eskimo dog. One of them would never sit still. The Separation net has too much space for her head to get stuck. They should have moved the bottom floor tab at a angle so that the dog couldn't hurt themselve. The other thing is the velcro for the Cargo Liner. It is kinda cheeze. You have to tape velcro strip to make the Cargo Liner to stay. The velcro strip that they tell you to put on the vinyl never sticks and it makes the car very ugly. They should have made hook joint in the car. Cargo Liner also covers top half of your second row seat (In the front). It is good in a way but it is very unattractive. I feel sorry for people like me that have dogs and want to take them with you to places once a while. But I still love the car. Out...
were NOT meant to go together!

The wording in the description of the net is pretty clear that it works for "inanimate" objects (like sleeping bags).

I kinda wish that Acura would have made available a standard wire grate, but juding by the effort they expended on the cargo cover, it sounds like a third party solution is going to work better.

I think you are confusing CARGO net with separation net?

From http://www.acura.com

Separation Net: Keeps pets or packages safely in cargo area. Easy installation using existing factory attachment points. Honda manufactured components ensure precise fit and appearance.

Cargo Net: Custom fit cargo net helps secure everything from groceries to sporting equipment. Two different mounting positions may be utilized depending on the type of load being secured. Flexible cord construction stretches to hold oddly shaped items.
I don't understand your complaint about the separation net. Please explain further. Where does your dog's head get stuck?

There is enough space for her head to sneak between the separation net and the 2nd row seat. The separation net is at 90 degrees; they should have moved the floor tab forward that the separation net pulls on at a decline angle so that there is no space between the seat and the separation net.
I was under the impression that if u tilt back the 2nd row seats a bit, it will reduce the size of the gap. Is that not enough to keep Rover from poking her head through there?
I am very disappointed in the cargo liner as well. I bought it with the intent to protect the cargo area against damage from ski wear, like boots and ski poles.

The velcro strips attached to the side walls came off my first night of ownership. Then I had to take it down to use the third row of seats, which is quite often since i use it to separate my kids.

Not to useful. I also want to state again what we've heard before about the all weather mats. Not covering the dead footrest area was idiotic. What are they thinking when someone purchases these mats. We're going to wash our shoes before putting our left foot down.

I'd like my money back on both.
