When I opened my rear hatch yesterday, I saw the Jack Cover on the left side was open and laying on the cargo floor. I tries putting it back on, but it wouldn't "snap" into place.
A few piece of duct tape will hold it until the next time I go in for service. It's funny, though, there are no broken pieces of plastic. It just doesn't align enough to engage when in the closed position. |

Make sure the jack is in correctly.
I noticed it has to be placed in a certain way after I used it to remove my rear wheels to install the rear mud flaps.
Kinda weird.

| Try pushing on both sides of the cover to pop in the tabs on each side. I had the same thing happen, the top latch seemed to lock but later I would find the hatch open. After pushing on the side edges and feeling it pop in, no more problems, at least for me. |
